This residency transcends typical mixology education by offering:

  • Participate in hands-on workshops on traditional methods like pit-roasting agave, natural fermentation, and local preservation techniques

  • Visit small farmers, learning time-honored techniques directly from the people preserving Mexico’s soul and food.

  • Trek through the lush Yucatan jungle with local herbalists to identify and harvest indigenous plants that have flavored regional beverages for centuries

  • Craft original cocktails using freshly harvested ingredients and locally-produced spirits under the guidance of celebrated Mexican mixologists

  • Culminate your residency by designing and implementing a complete cocktail menu for a takeover at one of Tulum’s premier establishments

  • These creative libations will be presented to a distinguished panel of judges who will evaluate based on originality, technical execution, flavor profile, and how well each creation captures the spirit of Tulum. The competition represents not just the culmination of intensive training, but a celebration of individual artistic expression through mixology.

  • The creator of the winning cocktail will receive a substantial cash prize along with an exclusive selection of premium products from our brand partner – providing both recognition and resources to continue their mixology journey beyond the residency.
